Full story

The Brief

The founder of Lucky Beans Childcare Caroline Curtis approached TJ Creative for advice on growing her London child care business.

The business was known in the local area of Balham but the brand had no visibility online. This was crippling any chance of growing substantially and opening new nurseries across London.

We recommended our SEO services in London for the job.

The Objectives

1. To create visibility online as a London based child nursery

2. To gain more customers for Lucky Beans from online enquiries

3. To make enough revenue to open new nurseries across London

Caroline’s theory was that parents were going online to search for child carers local to them in Balham, Tooting, Streatham and Norbury to look after their children.

We confirmed Caroline’s theory with SEO research – there was a clear demand with high search volumes for child care related search phrases. This is when we confirmed that SEO marketing would be the way forward.

The Results

When we started working with Lucky Beans they had no visibility and very little people landing on the Lucky Beans website.

Their website only ranked for their brand name, which wasn’t good enough to bring in new parents requiring child care. This meant only parents who knew of Lucky Beans were heading to the website. We wanted MORE traffic and NEW users/customers.

SEO results

In the first year

Lucky Beans saw a 61.51% increase in organic traffic going to the website. This translates into doubling the amount of parents who were searching Google, seeing Lucky Beans and then visiting their website.

This led to the website gaining a 59.92% increase in NEW users (parents in this case) finding Lucky Beans on Google Search.

Combining SEO and PPC for search dominance

Child care and childminding is a competitive industry, particularly in London. So although we were seeing organic search growth through SEO, we wanted to increase click through to Lucky Beans by doing strategic paid advertising on Google too.
